PACKAGING

twin, magnetic socks

A sock company that specializes in magnetic socks, creating socks that stick together when they’re not being worn.

THE PROBLEM
The average person loses about 1,200 socks in their lifetime, leading to immense sock loss across the human population.

THE OBJECTIVE
To fight against the sock loss struggle and help people stop losing their socks.

THE WORK
+ Packaging
+ Branding
+ Copywriting
+ Target audience
+ UX & UI
+ Advertising

THE THINKING
How do we lose so many socks? Why does it feel like the washing machine is eating them? I wanted to find a way to keep pairs of socks together forever.

THE PROCESS
Researching how magnets work and could be developed into clothing, I worked to create packaging that felt more expensive than the average pair of socks. Twin socks are specialty, for they’ll not get lost and stick together forever, appealing to the consumer as a product that is top quality through clean design.

THE EXPLORATION
Creating a solution comes from many sketches, iterations, prototypes, and best of all, mistakes. With constant feedback and analyzation at each step of the work, the process yields great results. Here’s a peek at some of the steps I flew between while working on twin.
